It’s officially November and we change our clocks back this Sunday. So yes…Christmas is just around the corner! We have some great holiday themed events happening this weekend in Ottawa plus so many others as well.

Christmas in the Valley Artisan Show – Taking place on both Saturday and Sunday, this craft show takes place at the Almonte Arena from 10 to 4 pm both days. Head over to sample lovely food and drinks, have a browse through the vendors and pick up locally made pieces for your Christmas gifts this year. Entrance is FREE with a donation to the Lanark Animal Welfare Society so much appreciated.

Ottawa Antique and Vintage Market – Taking place Saturday and Sunday at Carleton University’s Fieldhouse, this show offers a 30,000 square foot showroom filled with antiques and vintage goodies. A dream for those that love this stuff! Entrance is $10.

Artists of Stonebridge “Paint the Town” Show and Sale – Taking place on Saturday and Sunday from 10 am to 5 pm at Stonebridge Golf & Country Club, this show features the works of local Stonebridge artists. It is also a sale so the perfect time to pick up a Christmas gift for yourself or a friend/family member.

Snowflake Bazaar – Taking place at Queenswood United Church, this annual fundraiser takes place on Saturday from 8:30 am to 2:00 pm. Have some good food and drink and admire the work of local craftstman.

2017 Children’s Story Telling Festival – Taking place on Saturday from 10:30 am to 2:30 for ages 4 to 7 and 8 to 12, this event takes place at Nepean Centrepointe Library branch. Story telling provided in English and French and is so much fun for the kids! Don’t miss out!
