The Ottawa Children’s Festival starts this week on Wednesday May 10 and runs until Sunday May 16. Since 1985 this has been an annual celebration of performing arts for children. The festival highlights bringing the arts into the school curriculum and keeping them there to show what an important part of a child’s education the arts are. It is the ONLY festival of its kind in Ontario and brings in some of the world’s best performers highlighting theatre, dance, music and more. There are also numerous activities on site that children can participate in.

Some of the activities include a Mad Hatter Tea Party, a Petting Zoo, arts and crafts, music stations and more.
