Ottawa Selects: Selections from the Firestone Collection of Canadian Art

Ottawa Selects showcases artwork from the Firestone Collection of Canadian Art, chosen by celebrities and high profile individuals associated with the Ottawa area. The breadth and diversity of this significant collection which spans the modern period (1880s-1980s) is highlighted through a variety of artists, media, subject matter and styles, including Group of Seven landscapes, vibrant abstracts, dynamic cityscapes and figurative works by Marcelle Ferron, Claude Picher, Molly Bobak and more.

Mathew Reichertz: Garbage

Taking place at the Carleton University Art Gallery, Mathew Reichertz displays a series of large panels, each of which tells a part of a larger story. Running from January to April 2016.


Anita Kunz

Running March 29 to April 4, at the Cube Gallery in Westboro. This Toronto-based artist, Anita Kunz’s work has been selected at least 11 times as cover art for The New Yorker, one of the world’s most respected and storied magazines. Her show at Cube will be themed “fine art redux”.

Sarah Hatton

Running April 21 to May 4 at Galerie St-Laurent + Hill. The Chelsea artist Sarah Hatton, who has gained international attention with her complex, conservational “bee works,” returns with Lake Fever.  Visit her website for further details.
