It’s a bit of a quiet weekend in Ottawa for our first weekend in April…for FREE events that is. The JUNOS however have arrived and there are a lot of events surrounding the awards that are taking place this weekend in Ottawa and many of them are very affordable. Find out more HERE. 

Here are a few FREE, or ALMOST FREE events for this weekend:

Capital Gaming Expo – taking place all weekend from 9 am to 6 pm on Saturday and Sunday, this event celebrates all things “gaming” and is happening at the Nepean Sportsplex. Attend this event for as little as $5.

Arduino Day – celebrating all things Arduino, Makerspace North is hosting a FREE demo day tomorrow April 1st from 10 am to 2 pm at its headquarters at 250 City Centre Avenue. Take the opportunity to browse the displays, share designs and ideas and even test out some simulators.

Vernissage for Jessie Parker – Old Chelsea’s Gallery is opening up its newest exhibition with a vernissage all weekend. This beautiful gallery showcases amazing artists so be sure to stop by.
