Does anyone else feel like this week flew by?! I can’t believe it’s time for FREE FRIDAY already. Lots of FREE, or almost free, activities happening in Ottawa this weekend.

European Union Christmas Concert – this concert is completely free of charge and taking place this evening at 9:00 pm at the Notre Dame Cathedral Basilica at 56 Guiges Avenue. Highlighting the best of European carols, this event is a great one to attend.

Wakefield Christmas Market – Taking place tomorrow from 2:00 pm to 7:00 pm, this annual Christmas Market is very popular. Enjoy music, treats, wonderful items made by local artisans and more.

Holidays at the Parks – Taking place on Sunday from 12 to 4 at Wesley Clover Parks on Corkstown Road, this family event is completely free and a great way to get in the holiday spirit! Enjoy local vendors, treats, children’s crafts and more.

A Nepean Christmas – There is a small entrance fee for this event but it is a great one for the family. Children can meet Santa and get a photo, make a gingerbread house to bring home, sing Christmas carols and more.

Ottawa’s Farmer’s Markets – Christmas Markets – be sure to check out the website to see when your local market is hosting its Christmas market.
